Altiras Recovery LLC Creates Asphalt Binder from waste Mexican Crude

Houston TX – Altiras Recovery, a wholly owned subsidiary of Altiras Holdings, LLC, announced today that it developed a proprietary process to extract heavy crude oil from a large inland pond in Mexico.
“Altiras Recovery’s process to extract heavy crude oil from the lagoon, removing water and other undesirable constituents, produces a high quality asphalt binder. The pond covers approximately 600 acres and containing at least 400,000 cubic meters of Mexican crude oil and is under an active environmental cleanup. Altiras Recovery expects ongoing work on contract and engineering details to be finalized in early 2016.
