Acetic Acid Recycling, Beneficial Reuse & Disposal Services
Altiras specializes in the beneficial reuse of many chemicals, including Acetic Acid. We can often reuse acetic acid “as-is”, without processing. If the acetic acid product has a low color and purity of over 90%, we can reuse the product as-is. Examples of products viable for “as-is” reuse are found on our acetic acid products page. However, when products have lower purity, higher color, or an odor inconsistent with typical acetic acid, we offer recycling through Chemaris Acetyls. We can return the recovered product to the producer or buy the acetic acid, process it, and sell it to our customer base. Please note that we strongly prefer to handle full, bulk truckload, or rail tank car quantities for recycling. We only consider Tote quantities for consistent products.
